Education & Campus program manager

We are searching Program Manager, who is responsible for educational services (trainings) at InterSystems, related to it’s products and services (Cache, Ensemble, DeepSee, Healthshare, Trakcare), including course preparation and up-to-date maintenance, training customers and prospect, management of outsourcing trainers and development and management of InterSystems Campus programme (Campus is a special InterSystems programme for participating Universities).

Responsibilities:

  • Education services portfolio management;
  • Training courses development;
  • Trainings;
  • Management and development of Campus programme;
  • Provide application programming in Cache Objects, Cache SQL, Cache ObjectScript, and other technologies;
  • Provide other technical services for InterSystems Product environment including installation, configuration advice, performance monitoring, operating system tuning, education for InterSystems' customers as requested;
  • Participate in business and detailed technical discussions at all levels and in all departments of the customer's organization to foster the adoption, use and deployment of Product technologies;
  • Give corporate presentations to InterSystems' customers and prospects at site visits, marketing events and such venues. Topic includes strategic and tactical technical and business directions and technical product demonstrations;
  • Provide consulting services for the Sales Department and other InterSystems departments (Marketing, Support, Development, Documentation among others) as requested.

Requirements:

  • InterSystems Products and application development experience strongly preferred;
  • Object technologies;
  • Relational database concepts, SQL, ODBC and JDBC;
  • Web technologies including XML, HTML, Java, Java- and VBScript;
  • User interface environments such as Visual Basic, PowerBuilder, Delphi;
  • Operating Systems including Windows NT/95; UNIX and Open VMS;
  • Exposure to system languages such as C, C++, shell scripting;
  • This position requires the willingness to travel domestically and abroad;
  • Management skills;
  • Training skills;
  • Proven ongoing personal involvement with the design and coding of complex applications;
  • Proven leadership or technical management in an application development environment;
  • Proven problem-solving skills;
  • Understanding of the business considerations of application development, support and deployment;
  • Bachelor's degree of equivalent;
  • Five or more years of related experience;
  • Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills;
  • Fluent English (written and spoken);
